Delta Power Equipment is a full-service farm and construction equipment dealership with more than 450 employees across Ontario. Our teams work together to keep equipment, parts, and customers moving.

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on individual to join our Renfrew team as a Yard Maintenance team member.

If you enjoy working outdoors, keeping things organized, operating equipment, and taking pride in a job well done, this could be a great fit.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

You’ll help keep our yard, property, equipment, and materials clean, organized, safe, and ready for the day-to-day operation of the dealership.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform general building and property maintenance
• Maintain the yard and surrounding property, including landscaping and snow removal
• Inspect returned equipment and materials and ensure they are properly stored and in good working condition
• Move and operate equipment as required
• Organize tools, equipment, and materials
• Support yard inventory systems and keep materials organized
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Prepare equipment and materials for movement between the yard, shop, and other areas
• Serve as a main point of contact for field personnel regarding yard materials, equipment, and small tools
• Identify maintenance or safety concerns and communicate them to the appropriate team member
• Assist with general dealership and yard tasks as needed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.

You’ll bring:

• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Dependable and reliable work habits
• Good organization and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
• Valid Class D driver's licence
• A/AR licence is an asset
• Experience pulling a trailer is an asset
• Experience operating heavy equipment or machinery is an asset
• Ability to safely operate and move a variety of equipment

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is a hands-on position with a mix of indoor and outdoor work.

You should be comfortable with:

• Lifting up to 75 lbs
• Standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials
• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Working around heavy equipment and machinery
• Local travel when required
• Overtime as needed
• Following dealership safety procedures and wearing required PPE, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses
