SERVICE MANAGER

Location: London, Ontario Area, Various Locations 

Type: Fulltime, Permanent  

Delta Power Equipment is a full-service equipment dealership with 400+ employees providing sales, service and parts support at multiple locations across Ontario. Delta Power Equipment is looking for people who are passionate and who want to make a difference in the lives of our customers.  

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

• The Service Manager is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the service department which includes technicians, mechanics, shop repair and service administration.
• Oversees the development and direction of the service team to drive the growth of revenue, technical productivity and promote high quality customer satisfaction
• Oversee and manage the service department’s operations and scheduling to ensure completion of shop maintenance and repair work.
• Address customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner.
• Provide accurate estimates for service jobs and review and finalize all work orders or invoices for billing to customers.
• Organize and control expenses to meet budget expectations.

• Effective leadership skills with a strong focus on operations and business processes.
• Proven mechanical abilities and strong working knowledge of mechanical application or repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
• Knowledge of the agricultural industry and related equipment.
